Ballesteros had not won a Major since the 1984 Open Championship, but his magnificent 65 final round saw him finally defeat the Zimbabwean by 2 shots. It was arguably the finest last round in the history of the Championship, but it still came right down to the wire as Price had a putt on the 18th to tie.
